– Nova Werke AG - Headquarter Nova Werke AG on track to become CO2-neutral by 2050
With the construction of a modern photovoltaic system, we are consistently implementing our energy strategy and pursuing the goal of CO₂ neutrality by 2050. A large part of the electricity generated is used directly in our production, and the surplus is fed into the public grid. This allows us to reduce our electricity consumption from the grid while making an active contribution to sustainability.
Within just two months of construction, from January to March 2025, the project was successfully completed. A total of 1,195 solar modules were installed, 19,000 meters of cables laid, and approximately 45,000 kilograms of materials used. Thanks to the ideal roof orientation and the large, unshaded surface area, the system is optimally positioned to achieve maximum long-term performance.
The decision to build the photovoltaic system represents more than just a technical project, it reflects our core corporate values:
- Trust: We rely on a secure and transparent energy supply. By using self-generated electricity, we ensure continuous production processes and demonstrate to our customers and partners that they can depend on us.
- Appreciation: With the photovoltaic system, we take responsibility for our employees, customers, and partners. We create a sustainable environment and deliver products manufactured with respect for people and the environment.
- Sustainability: The system significantly reduces our CO₂ emissions and uses resources efficiently. In doing so, we actively contribute to climate protection and take responsibility for future generations.
